For you, i will stay with the rain.

Dear habibi,

There is this belief in Islam that all prayers spoken while it is raining are among the most sacred.

"Allahumma sayyiban nafi’an" (O Allah, let this be beneficial rain.)
(Sahih al-Bukhari, 1032)

The rain didn’t just fall; it somehow send a thousand silver threads weaving stories between heaven and earth.

Every time it rains, habibi, every single drop it takes to caress the earth gently, every soft rhythm it hums against my window, every lingering scent it leaves, every downpour and every rumbles, i will send my prayers for you. Because the moment when it rains, is when the heavens are open, when the unseen hears the words we dare not speak aloud.

To the raindrops that keep falling, i wish it brings you peace. Let it wash away your heaviness, settle the cracks of your heart, and plant seeds of hope where despair once lingered.

And when the rain finally fades, habibi, I hope it leaves you lighter, as it does the earth. I hope it leaves you with the scent of renewal, the kind of peace that only the rain and the One who sends it can bring. The rain may fleets, but God is All Knowing.

I like to imagine that all of my prayers find you in some inexplicable lightness in your chest, a quiet comfort that settles over you without reason. And no matter how much time passes, I will wait for the rain, if only to send a piece of my heart to you again.

So when you hear the rain, wherever you are, know that someone, somewhere, has filled it with prayers for you.
