On this special February fourteenth, let me write you, H, another unsent letter.

You know, love is not always about presence. Sometimes, love exists in absence too.

For me right now, it is in the silence between words never spoken, in the prayers whispered at dawn, in the quiet ache of missing someone who no longer walks beside me.

On this day of love, I do not send love letters like how I used to send you. Instead, I send a wish—a quiet, unwavering prayer.

I pray that you love yourself as deeply as you have loved others. That you embrace the warmth you so freely give, that you allow yourself the calmness you deserve, that you welcome every blessing without hesitation, knowing that you are worthy of them all.

Because how often do we give love to everyone but ourselves? How often do we offer patience, understanding, and forgiveness to others, yet refuse to extend the same kindness inward?

We carry guilt over mistakes, burdens that are not ours to bear, memories that haunt instead of heal. And yet, if we could love ourselves as we love those dearest to us, perhaps life would feel a little lighter.

I pray that you see yourself as enough—simply because you exist. Because you are here, breathing, living, being. You don’t have to prove anything or earn your worth.

You don’t need to accomplish more to deserve love. You don’t need to be stronger, wiser, or better to be worthy. The fact that you are here, that you take up space in this world, is reason enough. You are valuable, just as you are, in this moment, without conditions.

So, may you find peace in the rhythm of your days, in the quiet moments before dawn, in the spaces where your mind rests from worry. May your heart be light, not weighed down by burdens too heavy to bear alone.

H, I pray for your safety, that each step you take is guided and protected. I pray for your health, that your body stays strong and your spirit unshaken. I pray for your happiness, that joy finds you in unexpected ways, that laughter slips into your days like sunlight through a window.

And above all, I pray that God never leaves your side—not even for a second. That even when you feel alone, you are always held.

I do not stand beside you, but I still love you from afar. And in the quiet of my heart, I hope you see yourself as I see you—worthy of love, worthy of peace, worthy of the whole world.

And if you ever forget, may these words find you like a gentle reminder, whispering: and that you are deeply, deeply loved.
